Notes
THE FUN TASTING NOTES:
Have a glass of Death Gin, taste it.
THE LESS-FUN TASTING NOTES:
Appearance – Colour
Sometimes it’s as clear as a sunny day. Sometimes it’s foggy like a foggy day. Sometimes I don’t worry about the appearance and just enjoy it.
Smell – Nose – Aroma – Flavour – Taste – Palate
Aside from the usual suspects, you got some spice, you got some sweetness, you got some caramel if you can find it. After that the citrus comes in asks if they can crash on your couch and you’re like ‘of course mate’ and they do and then you watch Die Hard – it still holds up magnificently.
PREMIUM
INGREDIENTS
AUSTRALIAN NATIVE FINGER LIMES
Full of zest, these limes aren’t long for this world.
AUSTRALIAN RIVER MINT
We use black magic to suck the soul from this mint.
JUNIPERS
Their own mother wouldn’t recognise them after what they go through.
CUBEB
Kinda like ‘cubed’ but with a typo...and it’s a pepper berry.
GINGER
Gives Death Gin some soul.
EGYPTIAN CORIANDER
If you don’t like coriander you can go suck a lemon.
LEATHERWOOD HONEY
This stuff lives its life in the bottle.
LEMON PEEL
Imagine what those poor lemons had to go through to get this.
LEMON VERBENA
It’s a plant this one, not a lemon.
NATIVE LEMON MYRTLE
Not actually a lemon.
NUTMEG
One of those spices originally from the aptly named Spice Islands.
SRI LANKAN CINNAMON
Fe Fi Fo Fin, we grind this ginger to make our gin.
TONKA BEAN
Like the trucks but better in gin.
WATTLESEED
When a mother wattle and a father wattle love each other very much...

Where has this been all my life!? WOW!I thought this would be an average tasting gin with cool branding – boy was I wrong! This is luxe and delicious! There are a lot of beautiful flavours going on, juniper-forward, hits of citrus and subtle sweetness at the end!! It goes so well in a martini, negroni or in a G&T – any cocktail or on its own really. This would be in my top 3 fav gins!
Best Gin in townI’ve tasted a lot of Gin in my time and Death Gin is by far is the best I’ve had.
So delicious you can drink on its own! Death Gin is definitely one of the best gins I drink. So smooth that you don’t even need to have a mixer , just sip it on its own to be able to taste its beautiful botanicals.
Amazing! This is such amazing gin! I tried it at an event in Melbourne a couple years ago and now it’s the only gin I’ll drink. Simply the best!
Serious GinIt’s actually amazing to me how insanely great this gin is! I’ve always like gin, but Death Gin has made me love it.
Such a robust and spicy flavour, I love the delicious depths they’ve added – I’m hooked (in a good way)!
One is not enoughThis is so smooth and moorish that I can’t stop at 1. Love it with fever tree but occasionally neat at the end of the night.
Quality!!Locally made gin at its finest!
Love supporting local business and it certainly helps when the product is as good as this. Do yourself a favour and get this delicious gin in your gizzards!!
The kind of Gin which makes you want to take your clothes off or win a round of JengaCrisp and really floral… this Gin is so good things can get a bit dangerous:)
Deathly deliciousHave had Death Gin at a few mates’ places – the coffee one is next level!
Only Gin I drink.I dislike other Gins because they have too much of an aniseed note. Death Gin is the only Gin that I have in my house.
Refreshingly LovelyI bought death gin to try something different from 4 pillars and Melbourne Gin, and I can say I won’t be buying those again. A beautiful clean crisp taste thats easy to drink. I paired mine with fever tree tonic and lime, simple and delicious. A lovely pleasant surprise
An eye opening Gin to say the least.I recall tasting Death Gin for the first time neat on the rocks. I was extremely impressed with the complexities and taste.
Haven’t looked back and keep up the good work
Delicious! Wouldn’t buy any other nowHaving not been a big gin drinker up to this point, I was sceptical at first that this would turn my head – but death gin is just exceptional. I am officially converted! Particularly love the chilli gin!
LOVE LOVE LOVELove a drop of Coffee Gin in the morning zoom coffee catchup.
Gin time!Perfect gin for all seasons! Perfect in a G&T, dirty martini or straight up. Do yourself a favour and grab a bottle!!
Supper Yummy 🙂 Super Yummy, on a boat, with a Captain. In the rain on Train. In the Wind, Melbourne’s whim
My fav Gin!Simply love it! Can’t get enough of it. Death Gin is the perfect Gin on a nice summer day. G&T never tasted so good!
Perfect for a wee dram! The best gin this side of the hemisphere! Possible even the best gin EVER for me! And that’s a bold statement coming from a Scottish lass who loves a tipple. Amazing work guys! I made espresso martinis with the coffee gin recently. And oh yum! Worth a wee try tae.
DeliciousBeautiful fresh notes in this absolutely delicious gin. Soooo good. ❤️
Yum yum yumI love this gin!
Converted Gin DrinkerI was never a gin drinker before trying Death Gin, after my first taste I realised I’d never had a good gin before. I’ve tried many many good gins now but this one is still my favourite, refreshing and flavoursome and sure to impress.
Flavour flavour flavour Packed full of premium botanicals – this gin packs a flavour punch.I enjoy the flavours of the gin ice or with light tonic / soda with any citrus garnish. One great combo was also finger lime and sumac .. delicious. A must try!
The chilli gin is crazy goodObsessed!!!!!!! Surviving iso by looking forward to my Friday night chilli gin cocktails. Discovered originally at Atlas dining, but now taking prime place in my drinks cabinet. My new favourite cocktail ????
So delicious!!I love this gin! It pairs so well with soda water and a slice of orange, so you can still get the full flavour. I’ve recommended this to so many friends.
Plus, the bottle looks great on the shelf too!
Classic chicClassic AF with a subtle hint of charisma! So flavoursome…a treat to taste every time because depending on the mix you get something different. Try with a slice of pear…yes pear!
Converted Gin DrinkerWas never a big fan of gin and have tried many over the years, but this I’m a huge fan of and my new favourite go to!
Deliciousness in a bottle!!I have both had the Dry Gin and the Coffee Gin., Both are absolutely fabulous. If you love a Negroni you can’t go wrong with the Coffee Gin to try something a little different. The Dry Gin goes beautifully in a Gin Martini (adding a kaffir lime leave in the stirring process as recommended by a friend) and you can’t go wrong with using as your gin of choice in a good old G & T. Great gins for any occasion and any cocktail, highly recommend.
NegronzPerfect for a killer Negroni or straight up G&T.
Best Gin EVAReally great fresh tasting, gin. Great flavours. Would definitely recommend this to anyone..
SavourI have now purchased my 3rd bottle of Death Gin- I could blame Covid, Lock down etc., but it’s the sheer enjoyment of having something delicious to sip and while the time away of an evening as we watch the sun sink down over the yard arm.
AMAZING Amazing quality, excellent customer service and my all time favourite gin!
Such a great Gin!Can’t get enough! The hardest is the pick which one of the three I prefer! Great job guys!
Absolutely love this gin ! Absolutely love this gin ! Perfect with a nice tonic & slice of lime ! & it looks awesome on my bar with the skull label !! I always have a bottle on the go & it makes a great gift for gin lovers xx
The ultimate ginOnly truly discovered gin during the pandemic and managed to try a heckload of it (what else was there to do)! But I keep coming back to Death Gin – my absolute fav drink – best served simply with a splash of dirty tonic and just an ice cube or two. So bloody refreshing and delicious!
Was I even alive before ……From the very first touch to my lips to the last drop that graced my pallet, this gin did not disappoint, leaving me wanting more as it travelled ever so smoothly down my throat, tantalising my senses with all the botanical infusions, a chemistry unlike any other.
All other Gins fail in comparison to this work of art, a masterpiece of distillery geniuses.

Great Australian GinQuick and friendly service from ordering to receipt. Once my dry gin arrived (very securely packaged), to keep my Death Coffee Gin company, I was quick to shake up one of my favourite gin cocktails, an Enzoni, and it was fabulous. Looking forward to lots more great gin cocktails – Negroni & Clover Club next on the list.
